Taken the toll
This whole toll hike issue is gonna be good and bad for us.
Why good?
Sign the petition. (not that Kerajaan BN is going to read/care about it anyways)
Why good?
- it proves how corrupt the Government is
- it proves how incompetent the Government is
- it proves how evil and heartless the Government and Crony Capitalists are
- driving is still relatively cheap, compared to the amount of environmental damage it cost
- toll rates are going up, not to fix the price distortion, but rather to line the pockets of Umnoputras and greedy Chinese towkays
- public transport still SUCKS, so what kind of alternative is there?

"Greedy Chinese towkays"??? I never thought the Chinese would be even allowed to own such monopolies (or whatever you call that....no need to work and just collect money all day). Aren't they 'marginalized'?

I'm writing from Penang -and hope to get info from you about RapidKL -may be we (my friends in Bus users Group re: www.penangwatch.net ) will drop in KL next few days/next week to film/take photo the true colours of RapidKL ! The cause : RapidKL will be taking over bus service in Penang ! We need to make a strong case that the service should be given to the best operator through open tender ! Appreciate if you can leave your tel/h/p so we can arrange to meet you when we arrive. Appreciate your suggestions where/how to catch the RapidKL in their true forms too !
